Als massiven Rückschritt kritisieren Muslime und Beobachter die absehbare Politik von Union und SPD in Sachen Islampolitik. Nöte der Muslime würden ignoriert.
Foroutan: „Der Koalitionsvertrag ist anachronistisch. Die Wörter Muslime und Islam tauchen kein einziges Mal auf. Es geht ausschließlich um Islamismus.“ Und weiter: „Das ist eine Politik der 60er Jahre: eine Negation, dass Muslime hier leben und hierbleiben und muslimisches Leben den Alltag, die Kultur und die Arbeitsmärkte dieses Landes prägt.“
