INSTITUTE

Founded in 2014, the Berlin Institute for Empirical Integration and Migration Research (BIM) is an Interdisciplinary Center (IZ) at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin with eight departments.

The board of directors consists of Prof. Dr. Gökce Yurdakul and Prof. Dr. Herbert Brücker.

The goal of the institute is to open up new perspectives on the integration of modern societies as „migration societies“.
